In response to Matthew’s command:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
PCN believes that we are called to give a portion of our resources and our time to the work of the Lord in the world. To this end as a congregation we have committed to giving 25% of our annual budget to missions each year and to the spreading of the Good News of Christ to all people

It is our hope and our purpose to remain committed to giving to numerous local, national and international mission organization and personnel while also giving of our time and talents to the world beyond our church’s walls. We are working toward developing deeper relationships with our missionaries and each of the agencies we support while increasing the involvement of our members in missions in our community and beyond.
PCN is a 5 for 5 congregation! As members of the PCUSA we believe that we are part of the global church and are called to give generously of our time and our offerings to the work of the Lord. When we participate in the world's needs we believe we are participating in God's transforming mission work here on earth. As a five for five congregation we participate in four churchwide special offerings (One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost, Peacemaking and the Christmas Joy Offering) and our basic mission giving which is 25% of our annual budget to the PCUSA, the local community and the global community.

Thank You's from some of the organizations PCN supports:
Gilead House has received your donation of $10,000 to the Ultimate Church Challenge to benefit the Capital Campaign. PCN has taken the lead in donations and we are profoundly grateful your church decided to invest in our community through Gilead House. Please extend our gratitude to all of your congregation. Also, continue to pray for the campaign, mothers, Gilead House staff and construction teams. We will keep you informed of our progress as there is still more to be done. Interim progress can be trancked on our website at www.gileadhouse.org. Your contribution will help us buld a 6-bedroom home that will serve as a safe haven for women and children for years to come.
"On behalf of the North Bay Children's Center's families, staff and Board of Directors, please accept our heartfelt appreciation, once again, for choosing to support our children by contributing $928.00 from your extra giving Sunday [Pentecost] towards our 2009 Annual Campaign."
"For 33 years the Novato Youth Center has offered quality, innovative programs to the community. We are committed to nurture, protect and educate our youth, while responding to the ever-changing needs of our community. Currently, with your help, we serve 3,600 youth and families of all income levels annually in Novato and from 17 surrounding cities throughout Marin, Sonoma and Solano Counties. We welcome the opportunity for you to tour our facility and learn more about our programs."
"Thank you so much for the gift of $1,218 to Homeward Bound of Marin in support of our programs for homeless adults at New Beginnings Center in Novato. We understand this check represents proceeds from the Alternative Christmas Faire program. We are grateful to have the Presbyterian Church of Novato as our partner, especially in these months of economic turbulence when demand for our services has risen steadily. Our 80-bed transitional housing provides access to counseling , job-training, a computer lab and creative writing workshops. Your gift, in concert with contributions from others, helps us pursue our mission of opening doors to safety, dignity, hope, and independence for everyone in our community."
"Thank you for your generous donation to Senior Access. This year, in addition to the programs designed to keep our clients with Alzheimer's disease and dementia connected and engaged -- through yoga, musical improvisation, watercolors, and small group discussions -- Senior Access is also focusing on caregivers. Your contribution supports our monthy caregiver support group, free educational workshops, and caregiver mixers."
