John 4:23 says:
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for  the Father seeks such as these to worship him.”

We are all called to worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We were created to worship God. We believe that every part of a church service is an act of worship whether we are, praying, reading scriptures, singing, confessing, being still, listening to the sermon, giving an offering, baptizing someone, taking communion or greeting one another; we are worshipping in spirit and in truth. In worship we offer ourselves to God and are equipped and strengthened for service in the world. In order to facilitate many styles of worship, PCN offers contemporary and traditional worship services with Sunday school classes for children and youth.

Worship Events:

Consecration Sunday is our Sunday event in which we as a congregation consecrate our giving to God with our stewardship pledges for the coming year. On this particular Sunday we individually and corporately pledge to give what we feel God is calling us to give in the way of our tithes and our offerings to the work of the Lord. After each of the services we share in a light meal together and enjoy fellowship with one another.

Lessons & Carols is our Sunday event in which we celebrate the Advent season in song. It is a wonderful morning where our choir and praise band leads us in worship through their gift and offering of music. This is normally held on the second Sunday in the month of December.

Children’s Christmas Musical is our Sunday event where our Children lead us in worship. There is no sermon as the children’s song and drama are the sermon for the congregation that morning. It is a wonderful opportunity for the entire worshipping body to experience the Holy Spirit’s work through the lives of our children. This Sunday is normally held on the third Sunday in December.

Congregational Meeting is a special Sunday meeting of the entire church where together we talk about what God has done in the past year as we look forward to the coming year. It is the time of the year where the congregation approves the call of their pastors and sets forth its visions and hopes for the coming years. At the conclusion of our annual meeting the congregation joins together in sharing a light meal of bread and soup with one another. This is usually held on the last Sunday in January.
